Water Temperature: 195F to 205F (91C to 96C)

Note: Always grind fresh right before brew. Pre-heat brewing vessels with hot water. If you prefer richer body and taste, use finer grind, longer brew time or water temperature closer to 205F.

 

Method: Drip / Pour-Over

Grind: Medium

Cup Volume: 8 fl oz.

Grounds Weight: 15 to 18 grams or 3 to 3.75 Tablespoons

Total Water: 8 fl oz. or 237 ml

Pre-brew: Soak the grounds (with 2 fl oz. water) for 15 seconds.

Pouring: Evenly pour water in circular motion, avoid pouring on the edge, gently stir with a small spoon for better saturation.

Method: Aeropress (Espresso)

Grind: Fine

Cup Volume: 4 fl oz. or 113 grams

Grounds Weight: 2.5 to 2.75 scoops in the Aeropress kit or 33 to 35 grams

Total Water: 4 fl oz. or 113 ml

Pre-brew: Soak the grounds (with 2 fl oz. water) for 5 seconds, stir well.

Brewing: Fill Aeropress with water, stir well, quickly press hard after 1 minute. It produces an espresso-like drink, or when diluted with equal parts hot water to produce a Americano-like drink.

Method: Aeropress (Regular)

Grind: Medium to Very Fine

Cup Volume: 8 fl oz.

Grounds Weight: 1.25 to 1.75 scoop in the Aeropress kit or 15 to 18 grams

Total Water: 8 fl oz. or 237 ml

Pre-brew: Soak the grounds (with 2 fl oz. water) for 15 seconds.

Brewing: Fill up Aeropress, stir well, quickly press after 2-3 minutes.

Method: French Press

Grind: Medium-Coarse

French Press Volume: 12 fl oz.

Grounds Weight: 20 to 26 grams or 4 to 5 Tablespoons

Total Water: 12 fl oz.

Pre-brew: Soak the grounds (with 3 fl oz. water) for 15 seconds.

Brewing: Saturate the grounds with water, place the lid with plunger up. At 2 minutes, remove the lid and gently stir the coffee then replace the lid with plunger up. At 4 minutes, remove the lid and stir the coffee again. Use a spoon to skim the oils and floating grounds, place the plunger back and press down slowly.
